Cookie Decorating Workshop with Reema Siraj

Skill level: beginner – intermediate (our team will be there to help you in every step!)

In this fun Cookie Decorating Workshop, you will learn:

·  How to cover the cookies with fondant

·  Basics of colour theory and how to work with different colour palettes

·  Practical ways of using colours to create visually attractive cookies

·  Marbling, rough stone technique, crackle texture & bas-relief

·  How to deboss and dust the right way

·  How to blend-in shimmer and shine into your designs delicately to bring out every detail of the textures

·  Combining textures to create unique designs

·  How to make the perfect cookie from scratch (demonstration of recipe only)

All students will be working with and decorating pre-baked cookies. All the techniques above can also be applied to cakes!

All materials will be supplied and you will be taking your finished cookies home with you to enjoy.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the workshop.

Please note: This workshop is non-refundable. Should you be unable to attend you are able to gift your spot to a friend. Rise Bakehouse reserves the right to cancel or postpone the workshop after which a refund can be requested should all parties agree.

Bookings are virtual and you will receive a confirmation email – you will need to bring this with you upon arrival on the day of the workshop.
